Edward St Specialist Centre is located in the heart of Mitcham, the Centre provides specialist care in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, General Surgery and Breast surgery.

The philosophy of the Centre is to provide a caring and supportive environment for our patients to help them through times that may be challenging for them.

Working in conjunction with Allied Health professionals in Continence Physiotherapy, the Whitehorse Pelvic Floor and Continence Clinic provides a multidisciplinary approach to the problems of Incontinence and Prolapse in women. We undertake Urodynamic studies of bladder function to aid in the diagnosis. As well as pelvic reconstructive surgery we also offer magnetic therapy and nerve stimulation procedures for management of these conditions. SheFit Health offers specialist physiotherapy for pelvic floor care and pain management. A home visiting service is also available.

As well as Obstetric care for pregnancy, we provide pre pregnancy assessment for individual couples. Optimisation of a woman’s health prior to pregnancy is becoming recognised as important in achieving good pregnancy outcomes. With this in mind, we offer advice and managment in pre natal genetic counselling, pre existing medical conditions and pelvic floor therapy.

Specialist surgical care for endocrine and breast conditions forms part of the holistic approach to patient centric care offered at the Centre.
